Flexibility, Resistance, Aerobic, Movement Execution (FRAME) training program to improve gait capacity in adults with Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia: protocol for a single-cohort feasibility trial.

Background: Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP) is a heterogeneous group of inherited neurological disorders characterized by progressive weakness and spasticity in the lower limbs, significantly affecting gait capacity (endurance and speed). Although specific interventions have been already investigated, there is currently a lack of comprehensive, structured neurorehabilitation programs to improve gait capacity in adults with HSP. Thus, this protocol aims to explore the feasibility and effectiveness of a composite training targeting flexibility, muscle strength, motor control, balance, and aerobic capacity.

Contamination by benzothiazoles in the Arctic: first evidence in the seawater of the Greenland Sea.

Benzothiazoles (BTHs), used in industrial chemistry, consumer products, and pharmaceuticals, are emerging contaminants due to their environmental presence and toxicological risks to aquatic life and human health. However, their environmental fate in seawater remains poorly investigated. This study reports for the first time the occurrence and distribution of six BTHs in the sub-Arctic seawater of the Greenland Sea.

A Brazilian Association of Women´s Health Physical Therapy (ABRAFISM) guideline on the terminology of pelvic floor muscle function and assessment.

Background: There has been many efforts and updates over the years to develop a consensus for English terminology related to the pelvic floor (PF). There is a similar need to standardize physical therapy related PF terminology in Brazil.

Objective: To propose a guideline in Brazilian Portuguese language on the terminology related to the female PF function and assessment.

Dental morphology varies greatly throughout evolution, including in the human lineage, but little is known about the biology of this variation. Here, we use multiomics analyses to examine the genetics of variation in tooth crown dimensions. In a human cohort with mixed continental ancestry, we detected genome-wide significant associations at 18 genome regions.
