Decades of basic and translational research have led to a momentum shift in dissecting the relationship between immune cells and cancer. This culminated in the emergence of breakthrough immunotherapies that paved the way for oncologists to manage certain hard-to-treat cancers. The application of high-throughput techniques of genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics was conclusive in making and expediting the manufacturing process of cancer vaccines.

As a BCS Class II drug, rivaroxaban is characterized by poor solubility in aqueous media, posing a significant formulation challenge. : To address this, phosphate-based excipients were employed to prepare both traditional single-unit dosage forms (tablets) and modern multiple-unit pellet systems (MUPS).

This work presents a novel approach for the investigation of gastric motility influence on dosage form performance, by combining biopredictive dissolution tests in an innovative apparatus with mechanistic physiology-based pharmacokinetic modeling. The methodology was based on the pharmacokinetic data from a large ( = 118) cohort of healthy volunteers who ingested a capsule containing a highly soluble and rapidly absorbed drug under fasted conditions.
