Background: Knee injuries resulting in purely cartilaginous defects are rare, and controversy remains regarding the reliability of chondral-only fixation.
Purpose: To systematically review the literature for fixation methods and outcomes after primary fixation of chondral-only defects within the knee.
Study Design: Systematic review; Level of evidence, 5.
Objectives/hypothesis: Vocal fold (VF) injury and chronic inflammation can progress to scarring, which is notoriously difficult to treat. Human amniotic fluid (AF) has potential for VF wound healing in a rabbit model, and we hypothesized that AF would demonstrate wound healing properties superior to hyaluronic acid (HA) over time.
Study Design: Randomized, controlled trial.
Virtual ligand libraries for ligand discovery have recently increased 10,000-fold. Whether this has improved hit rates and potencies has not been directly tested. Meanwhile, typically only dozens of docking hits are assayed, clouding hit-rate interpretation.

A novel model-independent technique is used to compare the D^{+} and D^{-} phase-space distributions, with instrumental asymmetries subtracted using the D_{s}^{+}→K^{-}K^{+}π^{+} decay as a control channel.

The Boston Naming Test (BNT) is the most common naming test, which consists of 60 black-and-white drawings and takes 20-30 minutes to administer. Retrospective analysis has shown that administering the BNT in an adaptive fashion could result in a comparable measure of the patient's naming ability in only 8 items instead of 60.
