Undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma (UPS) is a highly malignant mesenchymal tumor that ranks as one of the most common types of soft tissue sarcoma. Even though chemotherapy increases the 5-year survival rate in UPS, high tumor heterogeneity frequently leads to chemotherapy resistance and consequently to recurrences. In this study, we characterized the cell composition and the transcriptional profile of UPS with resistance to chemotherapy at the single cell resolution.

Methods: Thirty-eight institutions participated in the Global nLPHL One Working Group retrospective study of NLPHL cases from 1992 to 2021. We measured progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS), transformation rate, and lymphoma-specific death rate.
Background: Nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin lymphoma (NLPHL) consist of lymphocyte predominant cell or LP-cell. Despite their origin from active germinal centers, in some cases LP-cells express IgD, which is characteristic of naive B-lymphocytes of the mantle zone. Due to the rarity of NLPHL, assessing the frequency of IgD-positive cases is difficult.
