Drought is becoming increasingly prevalent globally, stimulating research into its effects on river ecosystems. However, our understanding of how droughts affect riverine CO dynamics on a daily scale remains limited, particularly considering the likelihood of future drought occurrence. Here, we seize the opportunity to compare daily CO cycles between a non-drought summer and an unprecedented drought summer.

Methods: The test model used forces of 100 and 200 kdyn.
The goal of this study is to document outcomes of ablation for high-risk accessory pathways in paediatrics using 3D mapping systems with minimal to zero fluoroscopy. It is a cross-sectional, multicentre study, conducted between 2013 and 2023, and involving four different centres in Hungary, Croatia, Kuwait, and Slovenia. A total of 128 procedures were performed on 111 patients.

We show unique fast singlet (π,π*) excited state deactivation pathway through nonadiabatic transition to the (n,π*) excited- state, and subsequent deactivation to the ground electronic state (S), closing the photocycle. This mechanism explains the exceptionally weak fluorescence and the short excited-state lifetime for the flavin trimethoxyphenyl derivative and the lack of excited triplet T state formation.

The purpose of this study was to review the indications and outcomes of arthrodesis as a salvage procedure for failed MCP arthroplasties.
Methods: This was a retrospective cohort study of all patients undergoing salvage MCP arthrodesis at a single institution from 1990 to 2020.
