This study explores the influence of charge distribution and molecular shape on the stability of ferroelectric nematic liquid crystalline phases through atomistic simulations of DIO molecules. We demonstrate the role of dipole-dipole interactions and molecular shape in achieving polar ordering by simulating charged and chargeless topologies, and analysing positional and orientational pair-distribution functions. The charged DIO molecules exhibit head-to-tail and side-by-side parallel alignments conducive to long-range polar order, whereas the chargeless molecules show no polar ordering.

Literature data suggests that sleep is a recurrent resting state that performs multiple biological functions, such as memory consolidation and regulation of glucose, lipid metabolism, energy metabolism, eating behavior, and blood pressure, besides, regulating the immune system. These immunological functions depend on regular sleep and circadian rhythms, as both impact the magnitude of immune responses.

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a burdensome condition frequently associated with an increased risk of psychiatric disorders. Although the exact molecular signaling pathways have not yet been fully defined, the compromised integrity of functional brain networks in regions such as the prefrontal cortex and anterior cingulate cortex has been linked to persistent symptoms, including depression, fatigue, and sleep disorders. Understanding how TBI affects neural physiology enables the development of effective interventions.

Design: A retrospective comparative study.
Setting: Craniofacial rehabilitation institution.
Objective: This study tests the effectiveness of leader and provider-level implementation strategies to implement evidence-based interventions (EBIs) in two of the service systems caring for autistic children. The TEAMS Leadership Institute (TLI) targets implementation leadership and climate, and TEAMS Individualized Provider Strategy (TIPS) targets provider motivation and engagement.
Method: A cluster randomized hybrid type 3 implementation-effectiveness trial tested the effects of the implementations strategies when paired with AIM HI (An Individualized Mental Health Intervention for Autism) in mental health programs (Study 1) and CPRT (Classroom Pivotal Response Teaching) in classrooms (Study 2).
