Promoting organizational learning in nursing: examining the influence of participatory leadership, psychological ownership and motivation.

Purpose: The study was designed to investigate the moderating role of employee motivation as a mediator of psychological ownership in the relationship between nurses' perception of participatory leadership and their organizational learning behaviors.

Design/methodology/approach: The study included 476 nurses working in a training and research hospital in the east of Turkey. This study, prepared in accordance with the Strobe checklist, was designed as a cross-sectional descriptive study.

Background: Considering the increasing consumption of soft drinks and their adverse health effects, identifying addiction to these drinks in the population is significant. Accordingly, this study aimed to evaluate the reliability and validity of the Turkish version of the Soft Drink Addiction Scale.

Effects of the Ketogenic Diet on Microbiota Composition and Short-Chain Fatty Acids in Women with Overweight/Obesity.

: The ketogenic diet (KD) is a dietary model that can impact metabolic health and microbiota and has been widely discussed in recent years. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of a 6-week KD on biochemical parameters, gut microbiota, and fecal short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) in women with overweight/obesity. : Overall, 15 women aged 26-46 years were included in this study.

Repetitive Overuse Injury Causes Entheseal Damage and Palmar Muscle Fibrosis in Older Rats.

Overuse injury is a frequent diagnosis in occupational medicine and athletics. Using an established model of upper extremity overuse, we sought to characterize changes occurring in the forepaws and forelimbs of mature female rats (14-18 months of age). Thirty-three rats underwent a 4-week shaping period, before performing a high-repetition low-force (HRLF) task for 12 weeks, with the results being compared to 32 mature controls.
