Bacteriological studies of cadaveric blood for the presence of Pseudomonas putida and Pseudomonas fluorescence have demonstrated that identification of these microorganisms may be considered as an evidence of death by drowning. These bacteria are typical "aqueous" organisms non-pathogenic for man. They do not grow at a temperature of 41 degrees C and therefore are usually absent in normal human microflora.

The efficacy of tedin was evaluated by comparing the outcomes of treatment in patients of two homogeneous groups. Group 1 comprised 30 patients with viral hepatitis B (VHB) concurrent with giardiasis who took tedin additionally to the basic therapy. Group 2 included 30 patients with the same conditions who received the basic therapy alone.

The study of different doses of chemical brucellosis vaccine (0.5 mg, 0.75 mg and 1 mg), used for the booster immunization of persons who had received primary immunization with chemical and live brucellosis vaccines, revealed that the characteristics of its antigenic potency were somewhat higher after primary immunization with the live vaccine.
