Quadrupole mass filters are normally operated as narrow band pass filters by appropriate choices of rf and DC voltages corresponding to Mathieu and values near the apex of the first stability region. We add an auxiliary quadrupole excitation potential to the main drive voltage. As a result, stability islands appear on the () plane.

[Application of low-intensive laser irradiation in the treatment of perforative gastroduodenal ulcers].

Comparative analysis of results of surgical treatment, performed for perforative gastroduodenal ulcers in the patients, lacking H. pylori (control group) and owing this etiologic factor (main group), was conducted. Together with other conventional schemes of medicinal treatment in the early postoperative period a low-intensive irradiation of He-Ne laser was applied.

[Clinical features and diagnosis of congenital stenosis of the pulmonary artery and the right ventricular outflow tract].

Aim: To analyse clinical manifestations of congenital pulmonary artery stenosis (CPAS) and right ventricular outlet stenosis (RVOS), development of its diagnosis depending on anatomic variants of heart disease.

Material And Methods: The data on 539 patients examined with conventional clinical and highly informative novel techniques were studied.

Results: The analysis of the CPAS and RVOS clinical picture depending on the anatomic variant of the heart disease has shown that clinical symptomatology was of the same type.

[Clinical picture and treatment of mediastinitis after correction of congenital heart diseases in open heart surgery].

Postoperative purulent mediastinitis was observed by the authors in 43 out of 1110 patients. Specific features of the clinical picture and course of this complication are described. The "closed" method of treatment was used in 20 patients.

[Surgical treatment of atrial septal defects and associated congenital heart diseases].

The results of radical correction of interatrial septum defects and heart diseases associated with it were analyzed after treatment of 502 patients at the age from 5 to 48 years. In most cases (58.4%) the patients were adults.
