A simple and green chemometrics-assisted spectrophotometric technique has beendeveloped and validated for the determination of antipyrine (ANT) and benzocaine HCl (BEN) along with the official impurity of ANT, antipyrine impurity A (ANT imp-A), and the degradation product of BEN, p-amino benzoic acid (PABA), in their quaternary mixture. Three models were developed and compared: partial least squares (PLS), artificial neural networks (ANN), and multivariate curve resolution-alternating least squares (MCR-ALS) where the four studied drugs were successfully quantified. The quantitative determination of the studied drugs was assessed using percentage recoveries, standard errors of prediction, and root mean square errors of prediction.

A new cadinane-type sesquiterpene glucoside, 10-hydroxy, 1(H), 6(H), 7(H), 8(H)-cadinane-4-en-8-O--D-glucoside () as well as, 2 known analogues [sinaicin ()- linichlorinA ()], were isolated from the CHCl:MeOH organic extract of . Chemical structures of all isolated compounds were established depending upon the spectroscopic data including, 1D and 2D NMR and HRMS. Colo-205 (colorectal cancer), HepG2 (hepatocellular carcinoma) and MCF-7 (breast adenocarcinoma) and cancer cell lines were used to test the cytotoxic potential of the isolated compounds (-).

Mosquito-borne diseases represent a growing health challenge over time. Nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) are the second generation of solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs), and they continue to attract significant interest as potential diagnostic and therapeutic tools in disease inhibition and insect control. Activated ingredients presented in the Poinciana leaves were extracted and GC-MS data indicated an increased abundance of terpenes, flavonoids, and phenolic substances.

Background: For individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS), treatment interruption can result in relapse/recurrence of the disease activity. Currently, there are no consensus guidelines about whether an abrupt stop with a short washout period or gradual tapering is better for fingolimod (Gilenya) cessation. We investigated the impact of the fingolimod discontinuation strategy on the recurrence of disease activity and the rebound occurrence of symptoms during washout.

Background: Competencies-based education has gained global recognition, emphasizing the need for educators to align educational outcomes with healthcare system requirements. However, limited literature exists on competency frameworks and Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) specific to health professions educationists, hindering the development of tailored Master's programs.

Aim: This study aimed to develop a competency framework outlining the roles and functions for Master's learners in Health Professions Education (MHPE) and identify the key EPAs that form the foundation of a task-based MHPE curriculum, along with the expected levels of entrustment.
