This paper presents a novel approach for simulating and optimizing production costing systems using linear programming. The proposed method employs a linear programming algorithm to simulate the behavior of production costs and to derive optimal solutions, including cost minimization, resource maximization, and economic returns. This approach has been implemented as a standard platform computer application, which automatically processes the costing system to reflect real-world behavior accurately.

Context: The risk of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in twin pregnancies is more than double that of singleton pregnancies. Although twin pregnancies present unique challenges for fetal growth and prenatal management, the approach to GDM diagnosis and treatment is the same regardless of plurality. Data on pregnancy outcomes for individuals with GDM and a twin pregnancy are limited and conflicting.

Multidrug-resistant bacterial infections (MDRIs) constitute a major global threat due to increased patient morbidity/mortality and hospital stay/healthcare costs. A few studies from KSA, including our locality, addressed antimicrobial resistance in pediatric patients. This study was performed to recognize the incidence and clinical/microbiologic features of MDRIs in hospitalized pediatric patients.
