Background: A significant number of individuals diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 continue to suffer from persistent symptoms, a condition commonly referred to as Post-COVID syndrome (PCS). The most common manifestations are fatigue, post-exertional malaise, respiratory problems and cognitive deficits due to the lack of a causal treatment, therapeutic options remain symptom oriented. The aim of this study was to develop a low-threshold group therapy concept for patients with PCS and to test its feasibility in face-to-face and online format.

Clinical outcome after bleeding events following coronary stenting in patients with and without comorbid peripheral arterial disease.

Patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) may experience bleeding events. Bleeding risk is increased in patients with comorbid peripheral arterial disease (PADs). To evaluate whether PCI patients with PADs have worse outcome after bleeding, we assessed pooled patient-level data of 5,989 randomized all-comer trial participants and identified those who had a bleeding (BIO-RESORT:NCT01674803, BIONYX:NCT02508714).

The Controls Over Mesopelagic Interior Carbon Storage (COMICS) cruise DY086 took place aboard the RRS Discovery in the South Atlantic during November and December, 2017. Physical, chemical, biogeochemical and biological data were collected during three visits to ocean observatory station P3, off the coast of South Georgia, during an austral spring bloom.
