Article Synopsis
  • This study compares two lip augmentation techniques: the surgical V-Y method and autogenous micro-fat injections, focusing on patient satisfaction measured by the Visual Analog Scale (VAS).
  • Conducted on 40 female patients, results showed that 1 month post-treatment, the micro-fat injection group reported significantly higher satisfaction, while the V-Y surgical group had better satisfaction after 6 months.
  • The findings suggest that while micro-fat injections provide quick satisfaction, the V-Y surgical technique might offer better long-term results for lip augmentation.
