A global assessment of the status of tertiary, vocational, and technical forest education and training found deficits in inclusion of knowledge and student diversity. Coverage of forest services and cultural and social issues was characterized as weak in the curricula of many programs. The inclusion of traditional and Indigenous knowledge was frequently poor or absent.

Purpose: The ultrasound specialists face a substantial issue with work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WMSDs), characterized by occupation-related pain, reaching an estimated frequency of up to 90.5%. The type and location of pain vary depending on the sonographers specialty and the specific anatomical areas being examined.

Are the Classical Symptoms of Hypertension in Children Still Sensitive Enough?

The available literature is scarce on the initial symptoms of arterial hypertension in children. Our study aimed to analyze the initial clinical profile of patients referred to the hospital with suspected hypertension and those diagnosed with hypertension for the first time during a hospitalization for other reasons. This study was a retrospective analysis of medical records in 471 patients.

Lipid Profile in Children Born Small for Gestational Age.

Background: Lipid disorders are one of the risk factors for cardiovascular diseases. The aim of the study was to estimate the lipid profile in early childhood in the population of Polish children born small for gestational age (SGA).

Aims: While transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) assessment of left ventricular end-diastolic pressure (LVEDP) is critically important, the current paradigm is subject to error and indeterminate classification. Recently, peak left atrial strain (LAS) was found to be associated with LVEDP. We aimed to test the hypothesis that integration of the entire LAS time curve into a single parameter could improve the accuracy of peak LAS in the noninvasive assessment of LVEDP with TTE.
