[Retrospective study of 60 cases of uterine rupture at the Maternity Center of Monastir, Tunisia].

Uterine rupture is a life-threatening obstetric complication. The purpose of this study was to investigate the epidemiological features, maternal and foetal prognosis and different treatment options for uterine rupture in healthy and scarred uteri. We conducted a retrospective monocentric descriptive and analytical study of 60 cases of uterine rupture collected in the Department of Gynaecology-Obstetrics of the Center of Maternity and Neonatology, Monastir, from 2017 to 2021.

The SBAR tool for communication and patient safety in gynaecology and obstetrics: a Tunisian pilot study.

Background: In healthcare, inadequate communication among providers and insufficient information transmission represent primary contributors to adverse events, particularly in medical specialties such as obstetrics and gynecology. The implementation of SBAR (Situation-Background-Assessment-Recommendation) has been proposed as a standardized communication tool to enhance patient safety. Myocutaneous form of cysticercosis is often rare since most of them are asymptomatic and often go unnoticed. They often present to the emergency department due to pain over the lesion or central nervous manifestations.
