Nitazoxanide [2-(Acetyloxy)-N-(5-nitro-2-thiazolyl)benzamide], usually referred as NTZ, is an antiparasites drug with a potential anti-cancer reactivity. However, the bioavailability of nitazoxanide is limited due to its poor water solubility.
