Background/objectives: In the framework of the ValueCare project (funded by EC, ref 875215), the Valencia pilot site assessed the comprehensive health of 240 older people with frailty. ValueCare aims to deliver personalised integrated health and social care and better outcomes for older people.

Methods: For the health evaluation, a comprehensive approach was adopted, based on validated questionnaires that address not only mental and physical health but also other key dimensions in older people's well-being, namely unwanted loneliness and nutrition.

Previous studies have linked the microbiome of distinct body habitats to obesity and infertility; however, the often-divergent results observed have left the role of the so-called "second genome" in obese infertile patients incompletely explored. Here, we present a prospective observational multicenter study of oral, gut, endometrial, and vaginal microbiota of infertile patients classified according to BMI. Patients collected saliva/fecal samples, while vaginal/endometrial fluid samples were collected in the clinic.

The objective of the present manuscript was the evaluation of the toxicity and metabolism of the second generation of pyrovalerone cathinones (α-PHP, α-PHPiP, 4-MePPP and TH-PVP), using an early zebrafish (Danio rerio) larvae as in vivo model. Pyrovalerone cathinones LC were determined after 24, 48, 72 and 96 h of exposure. TH-PVP proved to be the most toxic cathinone, whereas 4-MePPP was the least toxic.

For improving the oxidative stability of a polyunsaturated oil, we co-encapsulated polyphenols from a concentrated beet by-product extract (CEB) with linseed oil using W/O/W emulsions produced through emulsification with dynamic membranes of tunable pore size (DMTS), a low-energy high-throughput emulsification technology. Emulsions were stabilized with lesser mealworm protein concentrate (LMPC) and with an LMPC-derived antioxidant emulsifier (LMPC conjugated to tannic acid (LMPC-TA)). Regarding productivity, values of transmembrane flux were high (above 100 m m h), and of industrial interest.
