Background: Nature-based Solutions (NbS) are vital for addressing climate change and biodiversity loss, yet their benefits are often unequally distributed. This study introduces the Environmental Health Citizen Interview Tool, aiming to inclusively capture diverse perspectives on environmental wellbeing using qualitative research methods. The principles of epistemic justice and planetary health are central to its development.

Article Synopsis
  • * A study evaluated a new Sanger sequencing test on 25 pure culture samples, showing 100% sensitivity for clarithromycin and high sensitivity (93%) and specificity (92%) for levofloxacin resistance detection.
  • * In clinical tests on 112 patients, resistance mutations were found in 24% for clarithromycin and 23% for levofloxacin, with specific mutations identified, emphasizing the importance of personalized therapy to combat antibiotic resistance.

Article Synopsis
  • The study investigates the relevance of biopsies from the incisura angularis in determining the risk of gastric cancer in patients with chronic gastritis using the OLGA system for assessment.
  • A total of 718 patients were examined, aged 20 to 84, and categorized based on the presence of autoimmune gastritis markers, resulting in three distinct patient groups.
  • Results showed that grade II inflammatory changes were prevalent (72.3%) across all groups, with severe chronic gastritis activity most common in patients with non-autoimmune gastritis, and these findings remained consistent even when excluding the incisura angularis biopsy.

The phospholipid and fatty acid content of erythrocytes in rat blood was studied after exposure to stress - swimming up to drowning. This stress was found to increase the content of phospholipids cha- racteristic for the membrane outer layer (phosphatidilcholine by 13 % and sphingomyelin by 23 %). At the same time a decrease in the content of acid phospholipids belonging to membrane inner layer was ob- served (phosphatidylethanolamine by 16 %, phosphatidyl serine by 14 % and monophosphoinositide by 23 %).

The content of some classes of phospholipids and their fatty acid composition in erythrocytes of the lamprey Lampetrafluviatilis during the autumn period of its prespawning migration are investigated. It is found that the phospholipid spectrum of erythrocytes of the lamprey, the oldest representative of vertebrates, is similar to that of many mammals. A four-fold prevalence of phosphatidilcholine content over sphingomyelin content as well as prevalence of (ω3-acids over ω6-acids indicates the <> of lamprey's erythrocyte membranes - an important indicator of deformational ability of lamprey's erythrocytes.
