Introduction: This report presents the latest findings from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey on the prevalence, awareness, treatment, and control of hypertension among adults in the United States during August 2021-August 2023.

Methods: Nationally weighted prevalence estimates of hypertension (systolic blood pressure of 130 mm Hg or above or diastolic blood pressure of 80 mm Hg or above, or self-report of current blood pressure medication use), self-reported awareness, self-reported treatment, and control (blood pressure less than 130/80 mm Hg) were obtained using National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey August 2021-August 2023 data. Variance estimates accounted for the complex survey design by using Taylor series linearization.

The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic necessitated effective vaccines that can endure antigenic mutations. Here we demonstrate highly immunogenic conjugate vaccines that elicit broad cross-neutralization to variants of concern (VOC) in animal studies. By utilizing protein-protein conjugation and Toll-Like Receptor (TLR) agonist adjuvants we achieve enhanced immunogenicity compared to unconjugated equivalents.

This study combines responses from a social survey with compound flood modeling in a marginalized coastal community to assess implementation of green infrastructure, such as rain barrels and rain gardens, in a city scale. This research focuses on the City of Imperial Beach, CA, which is an underserved coastal community located near the border with Mexico. A principal objective of the present research was analyzing social survey responses and the public's perceptions to estimate the extent to which decentralized water infrastructure might be accepted by and feasible for the target underserved coastal community.

The causative monkeypox virus (MPXV) belonged to clade IIb and is transmitted through sexual contact with a low case fatality rate (0.1%), which, together with under-detection, all contributed to a rapid global spread particularly within the MSM (men who have sex with men) community.
