A time series study was carried out with data collected from a publicly accessible system on the Federal Government's planning and budget. We analyzed the budget actions and their resources indicated by the Budget Allocation and the Settled Amount.

Integration of Copper Toxicity Mechanisms in : Advancing Insights at Environmentally Relevant Concentrations.

This work aimed to characterize the impact of copper (Cu), at environmentally relevant concentrations, using the freshwater microalga . Algae were incubated with 33 or 53 µg/L Cu, in OECD medium, and toxic impacts were evaluated over 72 h, using different cellular and biochemical biomarkers. The exposure to 33 µg/L Cu had an algistatic effect: slowing growth and reducing algal population (53%, at 72 h) without compromising the cell membrane.

Prognostic value of Chagas heart disease on short- and long-term clinical outcomes in patients hospitalized for COVID-19.

Background: Immunological similarities led us to explore potential interactions between Chagas heart disease (CHD) and coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). We evaluated CHD's impact on the short- and long-term clinical courses of COVID-19 patients.

Methods: The CHD group comprised consecutive hospitalized patients (March 2020-March 2022), while the controls were selected through genetic matching based on COVID complications predictors.
