Aims: To describe the clinical features, laboratory characteristics and the treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) among Benin people and West Africa people.

Methods: This is a part of a retrospective study which initially concerned patients seen in the rheumatology, dermatology and internal medicine departments of National Hospital University of Cotonou during January 2000 to March 2013 (14 years). Patients included in the study were all older than 16 years and fulfilling at least four of ACR criteria 1997 for Systemic lupus erythematosus.

The diabetes and its complications appear increasingly frequent in our medical practice. We fixed ourselves for objectives to determine the frequency of the foot diabetic in Internal Medicine at Cotonou, to count the factors etiopathogenic responsible for the lesions and to describe the clinical aspects of the lesions. We carried out a retrospective study on the 420 diabetics hospitalized of January 1, 1995 to December 31, 1999.

Melorheostosis is a rare chronic bone disease of unknown etiology that often affects a single limb. Onset usually occurs in childhood or early adolescence. A flowing wax appearance along the surface of the bone and multiple areas of bone sclerosis produce a typical radiographic picture.
