Importance: Climate change can adversely affect mental health, but the association of ambient temperature with psychiatric symptoms remains poorly understood.
Objective: To assess the association of ambient temperature exposure with internalizing, externalizing, and attention problems in adolescents from 2 population-based birth cohorts in Europe.
Design, Setting, And Participants: This cohort study analyzed data from the Dutch Generation R Study and the Spanish INMA (Infancia y Medio Ambiente) Project.
Background: A few studies linked air pollution to differences in functional connectivity of resting-state brain networks in children, but how air pollution exposure affects the development of brain networks remains poorly understood. Therefore, we studied the association of air pollution exposure from birth to 3 years and one year before the first imaging assessment with the development of functional connectivity across adolescence.
Methods: We utilized data from 3,626 children of the Generation R Study (The Netherlands).

Since the adoption of neoadjuvant chemoradiation and total mesorectal excision as the standard in rectal cancer care, there has been marked improvement in the local recurrence rates. In this context, restaging magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) plays a key role in the assessment of tumor response, occasionally enabling organ-sparing approaches. However, the role of restaging MRI in evaluating lateral lymph nodes remains limited.

Methods: We retrospectively analyzed intrafractional prostate motion in 77 patients with low- to intermediate-risk prostate cancer treated with five fractions of 7.25 Gy on a 1.
Agroforestry systems are multifunctional land-use systems that promote soil life. Despite their large potential spatio-temporal complexity, the majority of studies that investigated soil organisms in temperate cropland agroforestry systems focused on rather non-complex systems. Here, we investigated the topsoil and subsoil microbiome of two complex and innovative alley cropping systems: an agrosilvopastoral system combining poplar trees, crops, and livestock and a syntropic agroforestry system combining 35 tree and shrub species with forage crops.
