Clinical Experience on the Use of a Single-day, Two-injection Start Initiation Regimen of Aripiprazole Once Monthly in Patients With Schizophrenia in Spain: SaTISfy Study.

Objective: The two-injection start (TIS) initiation regimen was recently approved for aripiprazole once monthly 400 mg (AOM400), with potential benefits in adherence. The SaTISfy study described in this article analyzed Spanish psychiatrists' perspectives on hospitalization lengths of stay, schizophrenia management, and the use of AOM400-TIS.

Displacements Study of an Earth Fill Dam Based on High Precision Geodetic Monitoring and Numerical Modeling.

The aim of this paper is to study the behavior of an earth fill dam, analyzing the deformations determined by high precision geodetic techniques and those obtained by the Finite Element Method (FEM). A large number of control points were established around the area of the dam, and the measurements of their displacements took place during several periods. In this study, high-precision leveling and GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) techniques were used to monitor vertical and horizontal displacements respectively.

Objective: The aim of this article is to demonstrate the importance of the role a health CRM can play in a pandemic or health alert. During the influenza-A pandemic, Salud Responde played a very important role. Its main objective was to establish protocols and citizens advice lines that would avoid patients with mild influenza-A symptoms going to health centre.

An improvement in the appointment scheduling in primary health care centers using data mining.

An optimal resource management in health care centers implies the use of an appropriate timetabling scheme to schedule appointments. Timetables of health centers are usually divided into time slots whose duration is equal to time required for clinical attendance. However doctors perform a series of tasks that are not always clinical in nature: issuing prescriptions or prescribing sick leave certificates.

[Toscana virus in the Portuguese population: serosurvey and clinical cases].

Toscana virus (Phlebovirus genus, Bunyaviridae family) is a neurotropic virus which circulates in the Mediterranean Basin. Although Portugal has been the second country where its presence was reported, the existence of this virus in our country has been referred only sporadically, and there is a lack of knowledge regarding the prevalence of antibodies in the population. Thus, the objective of this study was to analyse the prevalence of antibodies anti-Toscana virus in the human population in our country.

Levelling profiles and a GPS network to monitor the active folding and faulting deformation in the Campo de Dalias (Betic Cordillera, southeastern Spain).

The Campo de Dalias is an area with relevant seismicity associated to the active tectonic deformations of the southern boundary of the Betic Cordillera. A non-permanent GPS network was installed to monitor, for the first time, the fault- and fold-related activity. In addition, two high precision levelling profiles were measured twice over a one-year period across the Balanegra Fault, one of the most active faults recognized in the area.

Background: There are no reliable data on the prevalence of skin diseases in Mozambique.

Aim: To address this issue and to apply the findings to the dermatology teaching program at the Universidade Católica de Moçambique.

Methods: Medical students attempted to identify the most common skin disorders in the "bairro Inhamudima" of Beira, Mozambique by conducting a population survey.

Impulsive behaviors in bulimic patients: relation to general psychopathology.

Objective: At a general level, impulsivity is related to both bulimic and general psychopathology. However, it is a complex construct, and the specific role of different forms of impulsivity in psychopathology remains to be determined. The present study of bulimic outpatients examined the association of internally and externally directed impulsive behaviors with general and bulimic psychopathology.
