Worldwide cancer incidence and mortality have always been a concern to the community. The cancer mortality rate has generally declined over the years; however, there is still an increased mortality rate in poorer countries that receives considerable attention from healthcare professionals. This suggested the importance of the prompt detection, effective treatment, and prevention strategies.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of various cooling systems after exercise-induced hyperthermia.
Design: Crossover study.
Underconsumption is a common problem among militaries around the world. The purpose of this study was to review and modify the current field ration (FR) to encourage energy intake in the field. Military servicemen from the Singapore Armed forces (N = 232) were interviewed on their perception of the current FR.

Fifteen volunteers gave their informed consent to participate in this study. Their venous blood samples were taken before, after, 2 and 5 h after exercise in each of the conditions.

First, starting from a boundary element (BE) formulation of low Reynolds number hydrodynamics, model the translational diffusion of macromolecules modeled as an array of non-overlapping beads, and show how this approach is equivalent to previous formulations of "bead hydrodynamics" and under what conditions. Second, show how this approach can be improved upon by accounting for the variation in forces over the surfaces of individual beads and also extending the approach to a gel modeled as an effective medium, EM.
