The cAMP response element binding protein (CREB)-binding protein (CBP) is a histone acetyltransferase that plays an indispensable role in regulating the acetylation of histone and non-histone proteins. Recently, it has been discovered that chemical inhibitors A485 and C646 can bind to Bombyx mori's CBP (BmCBP) and inhibit its acetyltransferase activity. Conductive multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) as well as piezoelectric zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles are frequently used as a single additive and dispersed in polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) solutions for the fabrication of piezoelectric composite films. In this study, MWCNT/ZnO binary dispersions are used as spinning liquids to fabricate composite nanofibrous films by electrospinning. Binary additives are conducive to increasing the crystallinity, piezoelectric voltage coefficient, and consequent piezoelectricity of as-spun films owing to the stretch-enhanced polarization of the electrospinning process under an applied electric field.

Unlabelled: This study investigated the effects of the interaction of walnut protein isolate (WPI) with epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), chlorogenic acid (CLA), (+)-catechin (CA), and ellagic acid (EA) on the structural and functional properties of proteins. The results for polyphenol binding equivalents and content of free amino and sulfhydryl groups as well as those from sodium dodecyl sulfate‒polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis confirmed the covalent interaction between WPI and the polyphenols. Walnut oil-based oleogels were prepared by the emulsion-templated method using methylcellulose at different concentrations and viscosities as the oleogelators and polysaccharides (sodium alginate, xanthan gum and κ-carrageenan) as the thickening agents.
