Introduction: Photobiomodulation (PBM) with low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is a non-invasive method for accelerating orthodontic tooth movement (OTM). Several systematic reviews (SRs) have assessed the effectiveness of LLLT on OTM acceleration. However, the interpretations and analysis of the findings of these SRs are inconclusive and inconsistent due to the substantial heterogeneity of their results, mainly due to the wide variety of parameters employed in the primary studies.

The study of frontal sinuses for personal identification is a considered approach in the forensic field. In Yoshino's system, the frontal sinus patterns of a given person were formulated as a code number (codY) obtained by arranging the class numbers in each classification item. The aim of this study is to develop a new formula for age estimation in a longitudinal study of a sample from the radiological collection of wrist bones of growing infants, children, and adolescents recorded at the Burlington Growth Centre. A sample of 82 individuals (43 boys and 39 girls), aged between 3 and 16 years, were analyzed with a total of 623 X-rays of left hand-wrist bones by measuring the area of carpal bones and epiphyses of the ulna and radius (Bo) and carpal area (Ca).
