Due to the increasing pollution of electromagnetic waves and the vigorous development of intelligent electronic devices, there is great interest in finding high-quality electromagnetic wave absorbing materials for integrated control boxes (ICBs) that integrate various electronic components. Polyaniline (PANI) is a new type of absorbing material with great potential due to its designable structure, simple preparation process, low density and adjustable conductivity. Herein, we prepared BCNF/PANI nanoscale conductive fibers with core-shell structure by in-situ growth of PANI on the surface of bacterial cellulose nanofibers (BCNF) by oxidative polymerization and further prepared cellulose/polyaniline/polyvinyl alcohol (BCNF/PANI/PVA) composite aerogel absorbing material by a freeze-drying process.

Background: The mechanisms by which tumor-derived factors remodel the microenvironment of target organs to facilitate cancer metastasis, especially organ-specific metastasis, remains obscure. Our previous studies have demonstrated that SPP1 plays a key role in promoting metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). However, the functional roles and mechanisms of tumor-derived SPP1 in shaping the pre-metastatic niche (PMN) and promoting lung-specific metastasis are unclear.

The ubiquitination machinery is a major target hijacked by pathogenic bacteria to promote their survival and proliferation. Type I interferon (IFN-I) plays detrimental roles in host defense against Francisella novicida (F.

However, most MEGs rely on auxiliary energy storage devices and rectifier circuits to drive small electronic devices, which hinder scalability and widespread deployment, and the development of direct current (DC) MEGs with high power output that can directly drive off-grid electronic devices is highly promising but challenging. Herein, a self-sustained moisture-electric generator (SMEG) with a hierarchical nanostructure based on one-dimensional (1D) negatively charged nanofibers and two-dimensional (2D) conductive nanosheets was demonstrated to generate continuous DC electricity from atmospheric humidity.

However, further exploration is needed to determine the extent to which this policy can improve the economic status of poverty-stricken areas. This study aims to evaluate the effects of PVPA projects in Anhui Province from a macroscopic perspective and via the panel data from 11 poverty-stricken counties, including 5 pilot counties, between 2011 and 2018.

While high-voltage and unidirectional electric field may pose thermal effect and damage to the skin, nanogenerators with lower voltages, pulsed or bidirectional currents, and less invasive electrodes are preferred. Herein, we construct a polydopamine (PDA)-modified poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) /MXene (PDMP/MXene) nanofibrous composite membrane that generates piezoelectric voltages matching the transepithelial potential (TEP) to accelerate wound healing.

Background: Immune escape is an important feature of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The overall response rate of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in HCC is still limited. Revealing the immune regulation mechanisms and finding new immune targets are expected to further improve the efficacy of immunotherapy.

It exhibits tissue-specific and dysregulated expression across multiple cancer types, including blood malignancies, colorectal, gastric, bladder, osteosarcoma, and hepatocellular carcinoma. This dysregulation is often associated with tumor aggressiveness, metastasis, and poor prognosis.

Typically it exists in the form of a heterotrimer, consisting of two α1 chains encoded by COL1A1 and one α2 chain encoded by COL1A2. However, in cancer a homotrimeric form of collagen type I comprises three α1 chains encoded by COL1A1 was founded.

However, prolonged MV could induce inspiratory muscle atrophy known as ventilator-induced diaphragmatic dysfunction (VIDD). Insulin-like growth factor () has been proven to play crucial roles in regulating skeletal muscle size and function.

The influence and its mechanism of the cirrhotic-ECM on the response of HCC to immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) remains less clarified.
Methods: In silico, proteomic and pathological assessment of alteration of cirrhotic-ECM were applied in clinical cohort.
Despite significant improvements in prognosis, a subset of patients with primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) remains at high risk for relapse. The treatment of relapsed and refractory (R/R) PCNSL remains a major clinical challenge. Herein, we present a 24-year-old patient with PCNSL who relapsed 4 years after initial diagnosis and subsequently became refractory to high-dose methotrexate (HD-MTX), temozolomide, whole brain radiation therapy (WBRT), ibrutinib, and lenalidomide.

The current multicenter retrospective study aimed to derive and validate a user-friendly and effective nomogram to address this issue.
Methods: A training cohort consisting of 437 confirmed COVID-19 cases from three hospitals in Hubei province (Tongji Hospital affiliated with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan Third Hospital of Wuhan University and Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital in Hubei province) was retrospectively analyzed to construct a predicting model, and another cohort of 161 hospitalized patients from Public Health Clinical Center of Shanghai was selected as an external validation cohort from January 1, 2020 to March 8, 2020.
For patients with primary refractory AML, allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (allo-HCT) is considered the only curative approach. However, the therapeutic efficacy of salvage transplantation in the non-remission (NR) state remains controversial. We present a patient with primary refractory AML and concomitant central nervous system (CNS) leukemia, who received salvage allo-HCT, localized radiotherapy and venetoclax maintenance.

The ongoing development of assisted reproductive technologies has provided hope to individuals struggling with infertility, promising the potential for a healthy pregnancy. One significant innovation in field of pre-implantation genetic screening (PGS) requires the biopsy of embryos or oocytes, which has potential implications for the health and development of the resultant offspring. Therefore, a non-invasive approach to preimplantation genetic screening is highly sought after.
