Developing non-iridium (Ir)-based electrocatalysts with good stability and activity for acid oxygen evolution reaction (OER) is of great importance for electrocatalytic water splitting. Ruthenium dioxide (RuO), which has lower price and higher OER activity, has been recognized as an attractive alternative to Ir-based electrocatalyst for acidic OER. However, the stability of most Ru-based electrocatalysts faces a great challenge in acidic condition.

Article Synopsis
  • The study aimed to evaluate changes in the masseter muscle in patients with facial asymmetry using 3D analysis, focusing on factors influencing these changes before and after orthognathic surgery.
  • A cohort of 22 patients showed significant reductions in masseter muscle volume and cross-sectional area on the non-deviated side post-surgery, while the deviated side experienced an increase in length.
  • Results indicated that masseter muscle asymmetry could be improved through maxilla-mandible correction, with greater muscle atrophy linked to a larger inclined occlusal plane angle after surgery.

Background: Droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) is widely applied to monitor measurable residual disease (MRD). However, there are limited studies on the feasibility of ddPCR-MRD monitoring after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT), especially targeting multiple molecular markers simultaneously.

Methods: Our study collected samples from patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) in complete remission after allo-HSCT between January 2018 and August 2021 to evaluate whether posttransplant ddPCR-MRD monitoring can identify patients at high risk of relapse.

Developing new polymer dielectrics with superior dielectric and energy storage properties is urgent to meet the demand for electronic devices in the field of microminiaturization or harsh environments. In this paper, two dipolar glass polymers based on polynorbornene main chain and flexible/rigid cyano side chain were synthesized by ring opening metathesis polymerization method: polymer PCEMT with flexible side chains and polymer PCPMT with rigid side chains. The backbone is built from two rigid five-membered rings, which not only avoids the narrow band gap caused by π-π conjugation of traditional aromatic main chains, but also maintains high thermal stability and high glass transition temperature ().

The interaction between the terahertz wave propagating in free space and the sample is weak, which leads to the weak signal of the sample, which cannot meet the detection needs of trace samples. In order to meet the detection of trace samples, a kind of metamaterial absorber (the basic unit of the absorber is composed of gold-high resistance silicon-aluminum three-layer structure) is designed, and the monolayer graphene is transferred on the surface of the metamaterial absorber to construct the graphene-metamaterial absorber heterostructure. The transmission spectrum of the resonant cavity is simulated and measured by terahertz time domain spectroscopy system, and the obvious resonance frequency shift is observed.
