Objective: Recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) presents a significant challenge in the field of reproductive medicine, as effective treatments remain limited despite extensive research efforts. A comprehensive understanding of current RSA clinical trials is essential for enhancing trial design and identifying existing research gaps. The aim of this study is to characterize RSA related clinical trials registered on Clinical Trials.

The primary infusion set for the BD Alaris pumps can hold 25 ml of volume in its tubing, potentially contributing up to a 50% drug loss if residual volume is present after administration is complete. In the case of antibiotics, this may lead to significant underdosing, potentially contributing to reduced therapeutic response and emergence of antimicrobial resistance.

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) hold enormous promise for treating bacterial infections to circumvent the threat of antibiotic resistance. However, positioning MOFs on wound dressings is hindered and remains a significant challenge. Herein, a facile heterointerfacial engineering strategy was developed to tailor the "MOF armor" that adaptively weaponized the poly(ε-caprolactone) electrospun dressing with excellent bacteria-killing efficacy.

Concurrently, nanozymes have emerged as promising enzyme mimics in the biomedical field, characterized by their remarkable stability, ease of production scalability, robust catalytic activity, and high tunability. Drawing inspiration from natural enzymes, molecularly imprinted nanozymes combine the unique benefits of both MIT and nanozymes, thereby conferring biomimetic catalysts with substrate specificity and catalytic selectivity.

Methods: Twenty-eight patients with severe dentofacial deformities secondary to unilateral temporomandibular joint ankylosis (TMJA) were retrospectively enrolled. Ten parameters associated with MDO were measured preoperatively, virtually, and postoperatively.
Background: Vancomycin empirically for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) pneumonia coverage often is prolonged. With high negative predictive value for MRSA pneumonia, we evaluated the efficacy of MRSA nasal screening with polymerase chain reaction for early de-escalation of empiric vancomycin for treatment of respiratory infections in patients admitted to the intensive care units.
Study Question: The impact of MRSA nasal screening on early de-escalation of vancomycin for respiratory infections.

Aim Of The Study: To analyze the positional changes of the inferior alveolar nerve after sagittal split ramus osteotomy (SSRO) and assess the impact of these changes on postoperative sensory nerve disturbances.
Material And Methods: Preoperative and postoperative (one year) spiral CT scans were used to categorize the inferior alveolar nerve into the extended side (n = 30) and retrogressive side (n = 30). Measurement software was used to observe and measure positional changes of the mandibular nerve canal, followed by a comparative analysis.
Intrathecal administration of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells may be a promising approach for the treatment of stroke, but its safety, effectiveness, and mechanism remain to be elucidated. In this study, good manufacturing practice-grade human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (5 × 105 and 1 × 106 cells) and saline were administered by cerebellomedullary cistern injection 72 hours after stroke induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion in rats. The results showed (1) no significant difference in mortality or general conditions among the three groups.

Methods: A dataset comprising 1274 skull models and corresponding scanned dental models was collected. In total, 1066 cases were used for the development of the computer-based method, while 208 cases were used for validation.
Study Design: Retrospective cohort study.
Objective: To investigate the correlation between comorbid chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, tobacco use, and the incidence of postoperative hematoma requiring reoperation after anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF).
Summary Of Background Data: Prior studies have identified general risk factors such as multilevel fusion and coagulopathy.
Adiponectin receptor signaling represents a promising therapeutic target for age-related conditions such as osteoporosis and diabetes. However, the literature presents conflicting evidence regarding the role of adiponectin signaling in bone homeostasis and fracture repair across different health states, ages, and disease conditions. These inconsistencies may arise from the complex endocrine and paracrine feedback mechanisms regulating adiponectin, as well as the variability in adiponectin isoforms and receptor expressions.

However, our clinical practice suggests that such teeth can be extracted efficiently through moderate twisting in a minimally invasive manner. Given the lack of studies on biomechanics of the tooth-periodontal ligament (PDL) complex during torsion, which has further constrained its application, we assessed the feasibility of the torsion method for extracting single-rooted teeth and evaluated its minimally invasive potential.

To overcome this organic-dependent barrier and investigate community changes after sulfur electron addition. In this study, we conducted a simulated urban wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) bioreactor by using sodium sulfate as an electron acceptor to explore the removal efficiency of characteristic pollutants before and after the addition of sulfur electron acceptor.

We hypothesized that there would be a shortening of the first ray at the first metatarsal, the proximal phalanx, or both.
Methods: In this retrospective study, we assessed patients who underwent ADA-IPA between 2019 and 2022.

Carbon-based metal-free materials are emerging as leading candidates to replace noble-metal catalysts in the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR). Herein, we introduce a facile secondary carbonation technique for fabricating Se and N co-doped metal-free catalysts using a zeolite imidazole framework (ZIF-8) as the precursor. The optimal electrocatalyst, designated SeNC-900, exhibited good ORR performance under both alkaline and acidic conditions, with half-wave potentials of 0.
