Multi-material decomposition (MMD) decomposes CT images into basis material images, and is a promising technique in clinical diagnostic CT to identify material compositions within the human body. MMD could be implemented on measurements obtained from spectral CT protocol, although spectral CT data acquisition is not readily available in most clinical environments. MMD methods using single energy CT (SECT), broadly applied in radiological departments of most hospitals, have been proposed in the literature while challenged by the inferior decomposition accuracy and the limited number of material bases due to the constrained material information in the SECT measurement.

Here, using yeast two-hybrid (Y2H) and co-immunoprecipitation assays, as well as laser confocal microscopy, the interaction between C1QBP and Cap was confirmed. Furthermore, overexpression of C1QBP in cells altered the intracellular location of Cap, which was observed using confocal microscopy and verified by detection of Cap in nuclear protein extracts in a Western blot assay.

Protein hydrolysis was analyzed by electrophoresis, and the potential allergenicity was reflected in IgG/IgE binding ability and activation of basophils. In comparison with static digestion, protein hydrolysis indicated different kinetic behaviors, especially tropomyosin (TM) showed better digestion stability during dynamic digestion.

Background: Chromobox (CBX) family proteins are a class of transcriptional repressors involved in epigenetic regulation and developmental processes of various tumors, including gastric cancer. However, the function and prognosis of different CBXs in gastric cancer remain unknown.
Methods: This study addresses this issue by synthesizing several mainstream databases (Oncomine, GEPIA2, cBioportal, and Kaplan-Meier plotter, among others) that currently contain many tumor samples and provide very reliable analysis results, investigating the role of CBXs in the prognosis of gastric cancer.

The RBL-2H3 and KU812 cell lines were employed to evaluate the changes in the stimulation abilities of TM-Tyr/CA that showed significant inhibition of mediators and cytokines. The digestibility of cross-linked TM was improved and the recognitions of IgG/IgE were markedly reduced, as revealed by western blotting.
