Background: By the end of 2021, the new wave of COVID-19 sparked by the Omicron variant spread rapidly due to its highly contagious nature, affecting more than 170 countries worldwide. Nucleic acid testing became the gold standard for diagnosing novel coronavirus infections. As of July 2022, numerous cities and regions in China have implemented regular nucleic acid testing policies, which have had a significant impact on socioeconomics and people's lives.

Proactive Personality and Caring Behavior of Clinical Nurses: A Moderated Mediation Model of Emotional Intelligence and Disgust Sensitivity.

The aims of the research were to investigate the mediating effect of emotional intelligence and the moderating effect of disgust sensitivity on the relationship between proactive personality and caring behavior among clinical nurses. A cross-sectional design while adhering to STROBE guidelines was used for this study. Three hundred ninety-three purposely selected nurses from three tertiary general hospitals completed an online survey.

Quality assessment of health science-related short videos on TikTok: A scoping review.

Objective: The aims of this review are to clarify the current state of research in terms of assessment tools and assessors of the quality of health science-related short videos on TikTok, to identify limitations in existing research; and to provide a reference for future studies.

Methods: A scoping review was conducted. The Cochrane Library, PubMed, MEDLINE, Web of Science, Embase, Scopus, EBSCO, CNKI, VIP, Wanfang Data, and CBM databases were searched from September 2016 to November 2022.

Background: As the Chinese society ages and the concern for health and quality of life grows, the demand for care services in China is increasing. The widespread use of internet technology has greatly improved the convenience and efficiency of web-based services. As a result, the Chinese government has been implementing "Internet+Nursing Services" since 2019, with mobile apps being the primary tools for users to access these services.

Quality evaluation of health information about breast cancer treatment found on WeChat public accounts.

Background: With growing cases of breast cancer, WeChat public account, an important information publishing platform of WeChat, has become a breast cancer treatment health information provider to a huge audience. It is essential for health information to possess high-level accuracy and reliability. This work evaluates the quality of health information on breast cancer treatment in WeChat public accounts (WPAs), to benefit the patients while making treatment decisions and provide WPA authors with suggestions on publishing high-quality treatment health information.

Application of medical-nurse integration health education in aged patients undergoing percutaneous vertebroplasty.

This study was designed to explore the effect of medical-nurse integration health education in aged patients undergoing percutaneous vertebroplasty. A total of 72 aged patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures, who obtained percutaneous vertebroplasty from June 2019 to May 2022 were selected in this study. Patients were divided into control group (n = 36) and experimental group (n = 36) according to the time of hospitalization.

Using a mediating model of death attitude and meaning in life to understand nursing students attitude about hospice care.

Background: Nurse-led hospice teams are an emerging trend in contemporary health care practice in China. However, Chinese nursing students are often ill-prepared to work in hospice care. Study findings on the attitude of nursing students toward the care of people who are dying and death varied among different countries and regions.

Perceptions and attitudes towards elective egg freezing of Chinese college students: a survey from eastern China.

Purpose: Few options are available for preserving female fertility to postpone childbirth. Although egg freezing with successful thawing is now possible, women' attitudes towards its use or the circumstances under which this technique may be considered remain unclear.

Methods: This study is a cross-sectional online survey.

Readability in printed education materials for Chinese patients with systemic lupus erythematosus: a mixed-method design.

Objectives: To assess the readability of printed education materials (PEMs) for patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and to explore the perceptions of patients with SLE with different health literacy regarding the readability of PEMs.

Design: A mixed-methods study, including a cross-sectional survey and semistructured interviews.

Setting: The SLE PEMs were collected from 13 hospitals in China.
