Introduction: Scrotoplasty has become a common practice during insertion of penile prosthesis, improving patient perception of penile length. Previous reports on scrotoplasty outcomes have only focused on the perceived benefits. The risk of wound complications after scrotoplasty is unknown.

Cost Analysis of Metallic Stents for Chronic Ureteral Obstruction: A Multicenter Study.

Introduction: Metallic and polymer ureteral stents are used to manage chronic ureteral obstruction. In general, metallic stents are more costly than polymer stents but they are changed less frequently. We examined the overall costs of using these stent types at 2 institutions.

Analysis of semen parameters during 2 weeks of daily ejaculation: a first in humans study.

Background: Timed and frequent intercourse around the time of female ovulation is recommended to improve conception. Although a significant number of articles have examined how the length of abstinence affects these semen analysis, the effects of frequent (daily) ejaculation has not been rigorously studied.

Methods: Twenty normal men were recruited for daily ejaculation over 14 consecutive days, after a 3-5 days abstinence period.

A case of a metanephric adenoma of the kidney surgically treated with robot-assisted laparoscopic partial nephrectomy.

Metanephric adenomas are a rare neoplasm of the kidney with less than 200 cases reported. We report a case of a metanephric adenoma incidentally found on imaging in a 52-year-old Hispanic female and treated with robot-assisted laparoscopic partial nephrectomy. A brief review of the literature is also included.

A case of coronal urethral duplication with no other abnormalities.

Urethral duplication is a very rare congenital anomaly. Urethral duplication is seen most commonly in the sagittal plane. We report a rare case of complete urethral duplication in the coronal plane with no other associated anomalies.
