Seventeen spontaneous and induced mutants, that acquired a new characteristic--the synthesis of beta-carotene and lycopene, were obtained from strain Streptomyces globisporus 1912. It was found that spontaneous mutants inherited more stably the acquired carotenogenesis as compared to induced ones. Synthesis of carotenoids by all isolated Crt+ Lcp+ cultures is a constitutive feature.

Cloning of amplified DNA in the structure of shuttle vectors pAX5a and pWHM4 in Escherichia coli XL1 Blue was done. Plasmids of some selected ampicillin-resistent clones were transformed into protoplasts of plasmidless variant of Streptomyces globisporus 1912.

Amplified DNA was cloned in shuttle vector pWHM4 on sites for HindIII and EcoRI. The restriction analysis of plasmid DNAs of transformants has demonstrated that molecular size of cloned DNA fragment was 1134 bp.

The action of corvitin and pentoxiphillin on the prooxidant-antioxidant homeostasis for conditions of general supercooling were analysed. On the based of investigations results analysis of lipids peroxide oxidation indexes and antioxidant protection system in animals it were established, that corvitin in difference of pentoxiphillin give more significant protectory effect in conditions of ishemic-reperfusion syndrome.

Presence of restriction sites for endonucleases II EcoRI, Pstl, BamHI, SalGI, and BgII was established. A unique restriction site for endonuclease EcoRI on the plasmid pSS181 was found out, but endonucleases HindIII and XbaI had no restriction sites on the plasmid.
