Sporothrix schenckii meningitis in AIDS during immune reconstitution syndrome.

Sporotrichosis is a fungal disease usually restricted to the cutaneous and lymphatic systems. Visceral involvement is unusual. To date, only 21 cases of sporotrichosis meningitis have been reported, some of these associated with immunosuppression.
