Introduction And Importance: Penile myiasis is the infestation of the penile area with larvae of certain fly species, especially diptera. It is rare but can be a serious parasitic infestation that typically occurs in individuals with poor hygiene or those living in unsanitary conditions. Due to the non-specific and vague clinical presentation, it holds diagnostic difficulty.

Background: The increasing use of double J ureteral stents (DJS) has increased the risk of early intolerance and long-term complications. Studies have reported stent colonization rates ranging from 19 to 90% with various bacterial profiles in the colonization of stents.

Prevalence of Diastolic Dysfunction in Critically Ill Patients Admitted to Intensive Care Unit from a Tertiary Care Hospital: A Prospective Observational Study.

Aim: Critically ill individuals may have left ventricular diastolic dysfunction (LVDD) which can prolong their intensive care unit (ICU) stay. The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of LVDD in critically ill adult patients requiring mechanical ventilation in ICU, the effect of LVDD on 28-day survival, and weaning from mechanical ventilation.

Methodology: A total of 227 adults who had been on mechanical ventilation for more than 48 hours in an ICU were recruited for this study.

Bipolar vessel sealing system versus silk ligation of lymphatic vessels in renal transplant recipient lymphatic complications: a randomized controlled trial.

Purpose: This study was aimed to compare lymphatic complications of bipolar vessel sealing system with silk ligation of lymphatic vessels among renal transplant recipients.

Lack of locally available medical infrastructure, socioeconomic barriers, social marginalization, poor health literacy, and cultural barriers prevent patients from accessing surgical and rehabilitative care. Overcoming these barriers is an insurmountable challenge for the most vulnerable and marginalized, resulting in absence of treatment or even death.

Renal Metastasis of Osteosarcoma with IVC Thrombus.

Renal metastasis from osteosarcoma is a rare entity, and tumour thrombus is even rarer. To date, only 15 cases of osteosarcoma with tumour thrombus have been reported in the literature. We present a case of an 18-year-old female diagnosed as having right distal femur osteosarcoma, later presenting with renal osteosarcoma with IVC thrombus.

Marker-Negative Pheochromocytoma Associated with Inferior Vena Cava Thrombosis.

Femoral pseudoaneurysm rupturing into urinary bladder: A rare presentation.

Femoral pseudoaneurysm is a common occurrence in intravenous drug abuser due to repeated trauma to the femoral artery causing arterial leak contained by the surrounding tissue and does not contain all the layers of arterial wall. Rupture of these aneurysm to exterior is a common presentation while rupture into surrounding structure deemed an emergency surgical attention. Hence, we report an unusual case of rupture of femoral pseudoaneurysm into urinary bladder who presented us with history of hematuria and was successfully managed.
