Background: Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) positron emission tomography (PET) has a high negative predictive value (NPV) in determining lymph node invasion (LNI) in men with intermediate-risk disease undergoing radical prostatectomy (RP) and pelvic lymph node dissection (PLND). We hypothesized that PSMA PET may be used to reduce the number of unnecessary PLND procedures performed.
Objective: To assess BCR-free survival of intermediate risk prostate cancer patients with a negative PSMA PET who underwent PLND vs.
To test for rates of inpatient palliative care (IPC) in metastatic testicular cancer patients receiving critical care therapy (CCT). Within the Nationwide Inpatient Sample (NIS) database (2008-2019), we tabulated IPC rates in metastatic testicular cancer patients receiving CCT, namely invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV), percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube (PEG), dialysis for acute kidney failure (AKF), total parenteral nutrition (TPN) or tracheostomy. Univariable and multivariable logistic regression models addressing IPC were fitted.

The correlation among these concepts merits further research. This study aims to examine the correlation between nursing students' attitudes towards ASE and SA and PA.

Methods: Within the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database (SEER, 2004-2020), we identified mRCC patients who underwent either pTA, NLT or CN.
Aim: The aim of this study is to examine the effect of web based self-breast examination education on nursing students' knowledge, skills, and self-directed learning skills in self-breast examination.
Background: Breast cancer is the most prevalent type of cancer among women, mortality rates are still high today. It is critical to improve the knowledge and skills and raise the self-awareness and health consciousness of individuals and society about self-breast examination, which is important in the early diagnosis of breast cancer, in order to lower mortality rates.

Despite rigorous theoretical and clinical training, nursing students face emotional and academic challenges that can harm their well-being. Nonetheless, there is a dearth of research investigating the impact of laughter yoga (LY) on nursing students' well-being, perceived stress, and self-efficacy. The aim of this single-blinded, two-armed randomized controlled trial is to evaluate the effect of LY on nursing students' well-being, perceived stress, and academic self-efficacy (ASE).

Due to the low prevalence of the disease, there is a lack of contemporary data regarding patient demographics and cancer-control outcomes.
Methods: Within the SEER database (2000-2019), we identified 1134 patients diagnosed with malignant SFTs.
Composite materials are used in many engineering applications and industrial fields due to their superior properties, such as high strength, lightweight, and stiffness. These outstanding properties have made these materials an alternative to metallic materials. The vital need for new lightweight and inexpensive materials with superior strength properties has led to research on "hybridisation".

While many patients remain asymptomatic, hemorrhage from these lesions can lead to significant neurological symptoms. This case report describes a 35-year-old female with a hemorrhagic lesion in the right precentral gyrus, initially challenging to diagnose due to atypical imaging findings.

Therefore, to balance the mechanical performance of the load-bearing implant with bone, TiNb alloys with differing porosities were fabricated by powder metallurgy combined with spacer material. Microstructures and phase constituents were characterized with energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD).

Purpose: We investigated regional differences in patients with stage III nonseminoma germ cell tumor (NSGCT). Specifically, we investigated differences in baseline patient, tumor characteristics and treatment characteristics, as well as cancer-specific mortality (CSM) across different regions of the United States.
Methods: Using the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database (2004-2018), patient (age, race/ethnicity), tumor (International Germ Cell Cancer Collaborative Group [IGCCCG] prognostic groups) and treatment (systemic therapy and retroperitoneal lymph dissection [RPLND] status) characteristics were tabulated for stage III NSGCT patients, according to 12 SEER registries representing different geographic regions.
Patients on double antiplatelet treatment who need early in-hospital coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) are at high risk of major bleeding. In this study, we aimed to investigate the impact of ticagrelor preloading on CABG related bleeding in patients with ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) initially managed with primary percutaneous coronary intervention (pPCI). Patients with the diagnosis of STEMI who were managed with pPCI and underwent subsequent early (4-7 days following pPCI) or delayed (> 7 days following pPCI) on-pump CABG surgery were included.

Methods: We identified newly diagnosed (2004-2014) stage III NS-TGCT patients within the Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results database 2004-2019. For each case, we simulated an age-matched male control (Monte Carlo simulation), relying on Social Security Administration (SSA) Life Tables with 5 years of follow-up.

Nursing students are among the groups where gamification applications are used effectively and frequently in educational technologies. This study aimed to adapt the Gameful Experience Scale (GAMEX) to the Turkish language and test its validity and reliability. The study was conducted with 620 nursing students studying an undergraduate nursing program between March and May, 2023.

We tested this hypothesis within a large-scale North American cohort.
Methods: Within Surveillance Epidemiology and End Results database 2000-2020, all mUTUC patients treated with ST+NU or with ST alone were identified.
Purpose: The role of lymphadenectomy and the optimal lymph node count (LNC) cut-off in nonmetastatic adrenocortical carcinoma (nmACC) are unclear.
Methods: Within the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database, surgically treated nmACC patients with T stages were identified between 2004 and 2020. We tested for cancer-specific mortality (CSM) differences according to pathological N-stage (pN0 vs.
Introduction: In soft tissue pelvic liposarcoma and leiomyosarcoma, it is unknown whether a specific tumor size cut-off may help to better predict prognosis, defined as cancer-specific survival (CSS). We tested whether different tumor size cut-offs, could improve CSS prediction.
Materials And Methods: Surgically treated non-metastatic soft tissue pelvic sarcoma patients were identified (Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results 2004-2019).
Many of the cancer cells produce energy with accelerated glycolysis and perform lactic acid production even under normoxic conditions called the "Warburg effect". Metabolism can directly or indirectly regulate the apoptotic mechanism so that cancer cells take advantage of reprogrammed metabolism to avoid apoptosis. The aim of this study is to examine the mechanism of apoptosis by incubating human lung carcinoma cells (A549) under different metabolic conditions in hypoxia or normoxia environments.

Its influence on patient education is substantial. However, despite its popularity, there has been little research into the quality and comprehensibility of videos related to ankle fractures, a condition with increasing incidence rates, particularly in the context of Turkey.
