Objective: To observe the changes in blood pressure (BP) over 10 years and to investigate current BP association to serum uric acid (SUA) levels and cardiovascular risk factors in the epidemiological data of a target group of patients with prehypertension in 2007.

Design: Cross-sectional study.

Asymptomatic Lupus Cystitis with Bilateral Hydronephrosis.

Lupus cystitis is a rare complication of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). It is characterized by an increase in bladder wall thickness and may be associated with hydroureteronephrosis. Reports, mostly from East Asian countries, indicate that lupus cystitis usually presents with gastrointestinal tract symptoms such as diarrhea, nausea, or abdominal pain.

Comparison of Quality of Life between Patients Undergoing Chronic Hemodialysis with Reusable Dialyzer and Single-Use Dialyzer: A Retrospective Cohort Study.

Background: in Indonesia, majority of hemodialysis centers use reusable dialyzer for cost efficiency reason. Currently, there is no available data regarding the quality of life of the end stage-renal disease patient'who use reusable dialyzer measured by a standardized questionnaire, as it was stated that at molecular level, reusable dialyzer could worsen leukocyte activity and could affect patients' complaints and symptoms.

Methods: this was a retrospective cohort study which involved 39 subjects.
