Objective: The aim of this study was to develop and evaluate a pedagogical tool to enhance the understanding of a checklist that evaluates reports of nonpharmacological trials (CLEAR NPT).

Design: Paired randomised controlled trial.

Participants: Clinicians and systematic reviewers.
