Palliative care in nursing training: higher education course coordinators' perception.

Objectives: to analyze undergraduate nursing course coordinators' perception about nursing training in palliative care.

Methods: a descriptive study, with a qualitative approach and thematic content analysis, carried out with coordinators of nursing courses in Higher Education Institutions in Rio Grande do Norte.

Results: three thematic categories emerged: Nursing training in palliative care; Potentialities for teaching palliative care; and Challenges of teaching in palliative care.

Death and dying of newborns and children: relationships between nursing and family according to Travelbee.

Objective: Identify the nursing staff's perception of their relationship with families of newborns and children who are in the process of death and dying.

Methods: Qualitative research, carried out in the Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of a public maternity hospital in Rio Grande do Norte, with 17 nursing professionals, through a semi-structured interview. After being transcribed, the data were subjected to Bardin's content analysis and interpreted in the light of the theory of Interpersonal Relations proposed by Travelbee.

Standard drug consumption: a study with elderly people in Primary Health Care.

Objective: To identify the pattern of medication consumption among the elderly assisted in Primary Health Care.

Methods: Descriptive, quantitative, cross-sectional study, with a sample of 315 elderly people, in a city in rural Rio Grande do Norte.

Results: The average age was 72.

Safety of hospitalized older adult patients: an analysis of the risk of falls.

Objective: To identify the risk of falls of older adults in a hospital in the Trairi region in Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, and to describe the relationship between risk of falls and the sociodemographic characteristics of the participants.

Method: A descriptive, transversal, and quantitative study conducted in a regional hospital, respecting the ethical principles in force. The Morse Scale was adopted for data collection, which took place in July and August 2018, and adapted with sociodemographic questions.

Life habits of hypertensive elderly men.

Objectives: To identify the habits of life in elderly hypertensive men of the city of Currais Novos/RN; correlate life habits and presence of comorbidities.

Methods: An exploratory and descriptive, quantitative study with a sample of 136 elderly hypertensive patients. Data collection took place from August to October 2016, through the structured interview technique.

[An integrative review of drug utilization by the elderly in primary health care].

Objective: To identify knowledge produced about drug utilization by the elderly in the primary health care context from 2006 to 2014.

Method: An integrative review of the PubMed, LILACS, BDENF, and SCOPUS databases, including qualitative research papers in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. It excluded papers with insufficient information regarding the methodological description.
