To assess the evidence available and knowledge gaps in photobiomodulation (PBM) for oral facial pain. Effective identification of a noninvasive resource for oral facial pain such as PBM may mitigate the risks of invasive therapeutic resources. Nine electronic databases were searched for systematic reviews reporting oral facial pain outcome for PBM.

Photobiomodulation in the Postoperative of Bichectomy Surgeries: Case Series.

Background: Several photobiomodulation (PBM) protocols with low-power lasers have been reported for pain control and tissue repair in the postoperative period of oral surgeries. However, there are still no reports of a protocol for bichectomy surgeries' postoperative period.
