Objective: This study aimed to investigate the impact of demographic and socioeconomic factors on survival in patients with major salivary gland malignancies.

Study Design: Population-based study using the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) cancer database.

Subject And Methods: The study cohort consisted of 10,735 men and women ages 20 and older who were diagnosed with major salivary gland carcinoma from 1973 to 2009.
