Good's syndrome, a rare form of acquired immunodeficiency associated with thymomas.

Good's syndrome (GS) or thymomaassociated immunodeficiency is a rare clinical entity that should be ruled out in patients with thymoma who develop severe, recurrent bacterial infections and opportunistic viral and fungal infections. There are no treatment protocols established, hence, early recognition is imperative to avoid complications. We report the case of a 42-year-old female, known for a previous thymectomy for giant thymoma who has suffered for a long time from recurrent pulmonary and urinary tract infections and cold sores.

Chronic Myeloid Leukemia With P190 BCR-ABL Translocation and Persistent Moderate Monocytosis: A Case Report.

Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) with p190 BCR-ABL is rare. In some cases it is associated with peripheral monocytosis, while bone marrow shows features intermediate between CML and chronic myelomonocytic leukemia. The prognosis is controversial, but in the most recent literature p190 BCR-ABL CML seems associated with a poor outcome.

Colorectal Cancer with Uncommon Metastatic Spread.

The prevalence of bone metastases from colorectal cancer (CRC) is quite low and the presence of isolated osseous metastases at the time of diagnosis or the onset of bone metastases without other organ involvement during follow-up is even lower. Here, we present an interesting case of diffuse skeletal metastases from CRC in which both the atypical presentation of the metastatic spread and the presence of infective comorbidities created some troubles in getting the final diagnosis.
