Objective: This study investigated the factors associated with satisfactory early postoperative wound conditions.
Method: A prospective study was conducted with patients (n=179) submitted to osteosynthesis in general, in a hospital orthopedics service. In the preoperative period, patients underwent laboratory exams and the surgical indications were based on the type of fracture and the patient's clinical conditions.
Objective: This study aims to establish the current panorama of the anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery in Brazil.
Methods: A survey that consisted of a 24-item questionnaire including surgeon's demographics, preferred technique, graft selection, graft positioning, use of braces, drains, antibiotic prophylaxis and most common complications was conducted at the last three editions of a national knee surgery event.
Results: Six hundred eight questionnaires were analyzed.

Method: This was a cross-sectional study in which the intraobserver and interobserver concordance between two readings made by 11 observers was analyzed. The analysis of the variations used the kappa statistical method.
