- A study looked at how much it costs to buy health insurance plans either on the marketplace or outside of it and found that prices can be different depending on the state and plan type.
- The results showed that in many areas, some cheaper plans were only available off the marketplace and those prices varied, suggesting higher-income families might save money by choosing off-marketplace plans.
