Evaluation of the efficacy of systemic therapy for advanced uterine leiomyosarcoma: A systematic review, meta-analysis, and meta-regression analysis.

Uterine leiomyosarcoma (uLMS) is an aggressive mesenchymal neoplasm associated with a poor prognosis. Systemic chemotherapy is the standard therapy for patients with uLMS. However, it is unclear which treatment regimen results in the most favorable clinical outcome.

Measuring Readiness for Self-Directed Learning in Medical Undergraduates.

Purpose: To measure the readiness for self-directed learning in medical students for the evaluation of self-directed learning in the study population.

Materials And Methods: The survey was conducted in undergraduate students. The instrument used was Fisher's readiness scale comprising of self-management, desire for learning, and self-control domains.

Ovarian malignancy is the second most common gynaecological malignancy diagnosed during pregnancy. A grand multipara, aged 30 years presented with gestational amenorrhea with abdominal discomfort and breathlessness for last 15 days. Sonographic examination demonstrated a huge, unilocular ovarian cyst and an alive fetus of about 30 weeks gestation.

Uterine rupture associated with the use of intra-vaginal misoprostol during second-trimester pregnancy termination.

Intravaginal Misoprostol is being used with excellent results for second trimester pregnancy termination, worldwide. However, there are many case reports of serious complications of uterine rupture in such cases, both in previously scarred as well as in unscarred uterus. In this report, we describe a case of uterine rupture in an unscarred uterus during second-trimester pregnancy termination with intravaginal misoprostol.
