Objectives: To evaluate the clinical effect of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) in children with hyper-IgM syndrome (HIGM).
Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on the medical data of 17 children with HIGM who received allo-HSCT. The Kaplan Meier method was used for the survival analysis of the children with HIGM after allo-HSCT.

Objective: To investigate the correlation of the Netrin-1 expression level with the clinical characteristics in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and to explore its possible regulatory mechanism.
Methods: ELISA was used to detect the expression level of Netrin-1 in peripheral blood serum from 48 child ALL patients (newly diagnosed, recurrent), and its relevance with clinical indicators was statistically analyzed. The blood serum samples from 27 children with non malignant hematological diseases were choosen as controls.
Purpose: Chronic granulomatous disease (CGD) is an inherited disorder, with phagocytes failing to produce antimicrobial superoxide due to deficient NADPH oxidase activity. Mutations in the gene encoding CYBB are responsible for the majority of the CGD cases. To date, there have been no reports on large samples of children with CGD in China.
