Global climate change and population growth pose a serious threat to world food security. The current crops varieties will be insufficient to meet food needs in the future, and there is an urgent need for high yielding and quality crops varieties with strong environmental adaptability. The rapid domestication of wild species to create new germplasm that can be applied to crop breeding is a new strategy for ensuring food security.

Objective: To analyze the CD40-mediated in vitro proliferation and invasiveness of lung cancer cell H1299, and explore the role of phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase-protein kinase B (PI3K-AKT) signaling pathway in the above-mentioned process.

Methods: Cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) assay was used to detect the proliferation of tumor cells. And scratch test and Transwell chambers were applied to detect the migration and invasiveness of H1299.
