The aim of the current study was to examine the effect of a psychoeducation intervention on knowledge, insight, and internalized stigma among people with schizophrenia in a long-term care (LTC) facility in Jordan. This study was conducted based on cluster randomization using a pre- and post-test design. The intervention group ( = 66) received seven sessions about schizophrenia over a 3-week period along with usual treatment.

Design And Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted on 135 patients diagnosed with schizophrenia, who had been admitted to the largest psychiatric hospital in Jordan.
Findings: The participants had a low level of knowledge, insight, and a high level of internalized stigma.
Back pain is the leading cause of disability, decreased physical performance at work and absenteeism. Activities leading to the occurrence of back pain include patient transfer and long standing hours. This study aimed to explore the prevalence and determine the activities responsible for the presence of back pain among Jordanian nurses.
