Purpose: To this day, there is no cure for recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP). Multiple surgical procedures are performed to achieve symptom relief and prevention of airway obstruction. A promising drug for RRP is the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) binding antibody bevacizumab.
