Purpose: Family caregivers (CGs) of individuals with cancer are increasingly relied upon to provide long-term, sometimes intense care, although their integration into clinical cancer care remains minimal. The Caregiver Advocacy, Research, and Education (CARE) Center is a novel nurse-led academic-clinical partnership to support family CGs of individuals with gynecologic cancer. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Center protocols and report metrics of CG needs and Center support.

Although EDs should assess patients' multifactorial fall risks to prevent future fall-related injuries, this frequently does not occur. They can occur in a variety of cancers that include breast, gastric, leukemia, lung, ovarian, pancreatic, prostate, testicular, as well as kidney. The classic presentation of the triad of mass, hematuria, and flank pain occurs in less than 15% of patients with renal cancer.

Aside from nonmelanoma skin cancer, prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men in the United States, and benign prostatic hyperplasia is the most common benign tumor found in men. Until recently, its endocrine functions and possible influence on the hypothalamic-pituitary axis have been relatively understudied. This review summarizes the current understanding of the potential endocrine functions of prostate cancer and benign prostate tissue.

Diagnostic testing and the treatment of localized and metastatic prostate cancer have undergone major changes over recent decades and have transformed the outlook for patients with prostate cancer.

The purpose of this study was to explore the comfort of having HPV-related discussions with OHPs among a college-age population. Students enrolled in an introductory-level, personal health class at a large, public, mid-Atlantic institution were invited to participate in an anonymous survey.
